Jan-Pascal,

 Thanks for giving me the little tidbit below. It turns out it was a bit more 
complicated. I needed to pre-build the various libs before I could build the 
exchange plug-in!  Once I did build the various libs and did what you 
suggested below it all worked!

 Once again thanks a great deal!
