I wasn't very clear.  

The only features we can work on are those listed in the planned-feature 
document at 
http://developer.kde.org/development-versions/kde-3.2-features.html.   I 
meant the features listed there (in yellow) will be added and complete by the 
beta release, which is September 29th, and after that it's all bug squashing.
