It is. The "Other Phone" is just a phone number entry in libkabc without any 
flags set. Some time ago, kaddressbook wasn't able to display these at all, I 
don't know if this has changed (hope so).

Nope, KAddressbook doesn't support showing or editing custom fields like 
X-KPILOT-X-CUSTOM1="Value of the other field on the handheld"

Perhaps the kaddressbook developers will add some way to display/edit these 
fields, if you bug them enough. 
Any ideas, Tobias ? *nudge,nudge*

The problem really is that kaddressbook ist just able to display/edit the 
standard fields, but not any user-defined custom fields.
