Hi,

I reverse engineered the compression format use inside TNEF files
to compress the RTF encoding of the message. I implemented a very
basic access in the ktnef utility, but it's available through the
ktnef library API (KTNEFMessage), see the patch attached.
I thought this might be useful for kmail as well as kdepim in
general (tell me if I'm wrong). I didn't commit anything yet.

Just 2 questions:
- would this be used outside ktnef utility?
- do you see any legal issue?

I'm not subscribed to kmail neither kde-pim ML so Cc-me to reach
me.

Bye.
Michael.
