Kontact development was a bit stuck, but with more time on my side and a new 
developer (Sven Lüppken), we now hope to get on the track again :)

Don is responsible for the release of snapshots, he is currently on vacations 
afaik. So be patient. Also please remember that development has priority over 
releasing snapshots. I am pretty sure Don will release a new one as soon as 
it is worth the effort.
