I've checked in some code to the HEAD branch to read and write reminders. 
It's not perfect, though:
- libkcal supports more than one Alarm per Event. Exchange just support one
reminder per appointment.
- libkcal has several alarm types: sound, text, procedure etc. Exchange doesn't.
- libkcal supports alarms on absolute times, relative to the event start time,
relative to the event end time. At the moment the reminder is only uploaded if 
it is relative to the event start time.
