What happens is that the handheld and KOrganizer now have two overlapping events for those times. I just made a screenshot of what I get (88 KB): http://www.ece.utexas.edu/~jhs/conflict.png To produce that, I entered a 13:00 - 16:00 appointment in the palm, then entered a 14:00 - 15:00 appointment in KOrganizer and did a sync. Something similar comes up on my palm.
