It would be nice, if this would be configurable by using symbols with 
the program name. So e.g. setting "echo %t: %s >>logfile" as alarm 
program would append time and summary to a log file.

In addition to the obvious fields it might be nice to also have symbols 
for the calendar file name or URL and the unique id of the event.
