Ohh, I didn't realize it yet.
It seems to be QLayout magic, because there exists no code for this
behaviour in addresseeeditorwidget.cpp.

I guess the QLayout works like the following
  -> ask first child widget for sizeHint()
    -> QLineEdit returns the length of its text
  -> QLayout will use this a max width and all other child widgets
     will get resized to it.
