Hi,
I raised this topic some weeks ago, see thread "pretty printing of street
addresses":
http://lists.kde.org/?t=103063041800001&r=1&w=2
I found quite some resources of international address formatting information,
some of them in a "named-tags" like format, some not:
http://www.softwaremarketingresource.com/internationaladdressing.html
http://www.bitboost.com/ref/international-address-formats.html#Formats
The licensing information is not clear, but I believe it should be okay if we
make up our own parsable address format description from one of them instead
of just copying the named-tags thing.
I think I offered to look into this, and I still would like to, but the last
weeks showed I hardly find the time to do even an hour of coding :(
However, as right now I've got the flu and have to sit at home anyways, I can
just as well have a look at it...
