Well - Korganizer shipped with KDE 3.0 has some bugs. Some fixed in KDE 
3.0.1, some more in KDE 3.0.2. KDE 3.1 will have even more important 
bugfixes (and some new) ...

But it may be that _your_ problem applies to timezone-stuff. I'd suggest to 
set no timezone in korganizer.
