Due to the open licensing issues I didn't yet add the conduit to
KDE's CVS tree. However, I put the source on my homepage:
http://reinhold.kainhofer.com/Linux/
The conduit needs a new version of the libmal library, which is also
available there in a prerelease version (I sent the thing to Jason
Day, too, so he might prepare an official release some time). I had
to hack together a few things in configure.in.in and Makefile.am,
so maybe it won't compile out of the box on some platforms. As I
only have my Debian box, I can't test it somewhere else. If you can
fix it and send a patch, I'd be really happy ;-)
Anyway, I'll be away to Brussels and Paris for the next 10 days, so
I won't be able to fix anything. This also means that the conduit
won't go into kde 3.1 beta 1 (which will be tagged August 5).
However, beta 2 will both have the avantgo conduit and a fixed
addressbook conduit (not enabled in beta 1, either. It is a bit
trickier than I thought, but the problems are solveable in a finite
time frame -- at least I hope so).
