It's just not coded yet. The current plugin just writes a new event 
to the server instead of first looking if there's already an event
with the same uid present.

I've added a configure.in.in with exchange in DO_NOT_COMPILE, 
like for kitchensync, but that doesn't seem to be enough. How 
do I disable compilation for the exchange plugin?

I'll keep working on that functionality of the plugin then. 
First upload should be made more complete, then I hope for some 
feedback...

If I find some time, I'll look into that. Try to implement an 
exchange2000 calendar and see what's missing on the framework.

Maybe, but I'll wait for a stable framework to crystallise first.
