I'm not that familiar with libkabc (and the custom fields). So It may be, that 
it already works. Than it's may fault - sorry.

Yes. I don't know about what it should look like (integrated in a view, or an 
extra setting,...). But the functionality should be clear, and be used by 
KMail and KOrganizer in the future. (well - the KOrganizer-usage would be my 
part I guess)
