not if you have "honor single click" checked as an option. 

well ... actually after playing around with it about more right now, that's 
not completely true. you can hold down the Ctrl button and select a single 
item with the LMB. but that isn't what i'd call very usable. more like very 
obfuscated.

big difference, little difference. *shrug* ;-)

remember this isn't about what they are _technically_, but what they are from 
a user's perspective. a list of names, phone numbers and emails is probably 
highly different in the eyes of most users than a list of image thumbnails in 
konqueror.

they use them differently, and view them with different intentions.
