Hey Anders,

sorry, no such problem here. I did a clean kdebase checkout and compiled it 
with srcdir!=builddir and it worked just fine. 

Maybe check your automake/autoconf versions. Waldo send a message to 
kde-core-devel yesterday about what versions are required.
