Hmm, this leaves the pi_ functions -- lots of those, particularly 
pi_file_whatnot and pi_tickle. More stuff to move to KPilotDeviceLink, 
ideally. However, then KPilotDeviceLink will need a little housekeeping, 
since it's getting messy already.
