Thanks that worked to compile the conduit

Some findings:
I "first time" synced about 1000 (yes!) addresses from my visor to
kaddressbook.
(I synced the visor with outlook addresses before)
* On a fast box (AMD 1200) it takes about 2-3 seconds to save a new address to
addressbook database with several 100 addresses.
* the Linux box freezed twice during the process - I had to reset the computer
the sync resumed.
* I have a lot of addresses where "Last Name" looks like
"Gassauer, Ferdinand".
Any way to split this into Last Name, First Name (except manualy of course)
during syncing?
* Changes in Kaddressbook are recognized but not written back to the visor.
* Configure Address Conduit
-> Close Addressbook .... - IMHO should say "Start Adressbook" - may be I
didn't understand what should happen.
-> "Smartly merge..." - if not selected no merging is done. I thougth that
syncing meens merging and the choice here is in respect of "Smartly" versus
"not smartly" ....
* Today I had to start kpilotDaemon manualy - my settings: "Start Daemon at
login=true" - this worked some days ago automagicaly.
* shall I upgrade kpilot-link 0.10.1beta - I use 0.9.5 ?
* running sync again - for every address I get the message
"Couldn't save addressbook"
Hope that helps a bit
