Okay, that pretty much cinches it for me.  For now, i'll grab a serial cradle
and use that.

I had a feeling you'd say that ;)  Real life (work/life) is interfering with all
spare time right now, so that is not an option.


I do have another question.
I now have a serial cradle and i have it backing up no problems.
However, whenever i first connect, it always says the following:
a PILOT USER CHANGED dialog pops up with:
"The Palm Pilot thinks the user name is , hower KPilot says you are Debian
User,,,.  Should i assume the Pilot is right and set the user name for KPilot to
?"

Now, i know where it is getting "Debian User,,," from (from /etc/passwd).
But where do i set the user name in the Visor itself?  Ie, how do i stop this
message from always popping up?
