Thanks for the patch. The alarm daemon has moved to its own module in CVS, so 
it's not that easy to apply the patch, in particular because it is planned to 
split up the alarm daemon in a low-level part and a GUI part. We have to see 
how that all fits together. Would you be interested in helping with this 
stuff?
