  Hmm... that sounds very interesting. Has Twister been switched to QT3 yet, 
or could I compile it from CVS on my KDE 2.2.1 install?

  That's very true. It seems like Aethera is an overall nice application, 
although it does have a few disadvantages that the KDE PIM applications do 
not:

   1.) Aethera is a pure QT app from what I understand, and doesn't really 
seem to attempt to fit into the standard KDE look and feel.
   2.) Once again, if I understand right, Aethera won't use KPilot, but a 
proprietary tool instead.
   3.) It doesn't use the same locations for storing data as the KDE PIM 
apps, thus if you decide you want to lauch a standalone app, you can't.

  I have nothing against theKompany.com, but still I think the tools made by 
the KDE PIM developers are much better at this stage...
