Okay, I give.  *How* do you make a designer-created widget inherit from 
KDialogBase?  The only way I can see is if you use uic to create the .cpp and 
.h files, then manually edit them.  However, this takes away one of the great 
advantages of using designer: quickly being able to make changes, because 
it's all automated.  Since I can't be the first person to run into this, and 
I can't seem to find anyone else to help me, I will admit my ignorance and 
request a (very) short lesson/howto.
