Hello,

I am using Perl since more than 10 years (1 with Perl-Qt) with pleasure.

But I found that the Qt support of Ruby is often in advance to its Perl
counterpart, so I decided to give a try to Ruby and Qt-Ruby.

Very easy transition, coming from Perl and Perl-Qt; Ruby gave me the
pleasure to discover a nice language, like I had in the 80's with FORTH
and in the 90's with Perl.

I used C++ a long time ago, and I know what I miss (fancy pointer problems
etc.), so I do not regret it !

Have a good day, and enjoy to give Ruby a try,

   Alain
