For Homerun, it needs to be able to either:

* Get individual runner's results as a model with low overhead.

or

* Be able to filter a single global model by runner.

... in order to be able to consider replacing Homerun sources with
runners, because Homerun's UI allows users that level of expressi-
ivity over the placement of results.

The other requirement is to be able to e.g. retrieve a permanent
listing of apps on the system along with their categories and have
the search input act as filter on those results - and have the
listing live update when sycoca changes ...
