it's pretty easy, really: just see how long it takes to send 1000 pixmaps=20
across the bus using the two methods. this is a lot easier than measuring=20
memory (hard to tease it out of the kernel and separate all the noise from =
the=20
data) or graphics speed (where there are so many layers and subsystems at=20
play) ...
