Try testing this as well:
- Select Aya theme (use latest version if possible)
- Change color from System Settings > Colors
- check applets to make sure colors are correctly updated.

The above was the test case the original report was for, so if it works for with your \
changes then great. :-)

P.S. Depending on the applet, this test case may not quite be the same code path as \
for the theme change test case: If text/other colors are assigned outside of a paint \
event (or perhaps an explicit themeChanged slot) then the color may not get updated \
on a Colors kcm change. _______________________________________________
