Yes, that's why I check before painting the gradient if the titleRect or
subTitleRect is too long, and if it is, I draw the gradient.
I've used it here for awhile, and it works pretty nicely. It also works with
the device notifier when say a USB drive name is too long, and makes it look
pretty nice!! And the slowdown from drawing the gradient is unnoticeable!
