Thinking about it, it shouldn't be hard to do. We can just align the=20
contentsRect of PopupApplet to the screen's edge, so the left border is=20
painted offscreen and the content aligns nicely with the screen's edge.=20
Additionally, I think this would even be 'correct' behaviour, since it shou=
ld=20
also align applets that have their own background (and borders) nicely with=
=20
the popup.
