Hello everyone,

I work with MorpheuZ and the others in INdT here in Brazil, ( where I am the
lead designer and product owner) and after a long time contributing to the
company's projects in the UX / UI / areas, finally I see something that
really interests me going on (because of QT entering the boat). This seems
that apart from what people thinks, I see now more chance to do usability /
interaction and experience work with you (KDE guys) then with the others,
specially in the way we believe it should be done.

Arthur then told me that you guys are moving towards a shell to the N810 /
IT or better any Mobile internet device out there (this is great) and I
think we can for sure dedicate our free time to help as much as possible on
this, from small details to bigger tasks, whatever needs help to get done.
We have a lot of ideas, that were never used because they were too different
from the hildon concept, and that also are not related to the future of
hildon, so they have more or less their own way focused on tasks and users
using thumbs (or index) fingers 100% of the time, as well using as much as
possible the freedom to rotate the screen and keep the experience while
taking advantage of that orientation (scrolling long lists) and so on.

It will be a pleasure to help, and please let me know of anything else you
guys think we can help, based in our prior experience.

I am quite frustated that I  wasn't able to go to Akademy, specially because
I wanted to get in touch (actually meet them) with Celeste and Ellen to
extend some of their projects to Brazilian universities that we have
projects in. ( now we already have 28 students of Design receiving
scolarship ) and it would be nice to help them evolve in the opensource
world, helping live projects and in the end helping us to find out the best
way to have designers and developers working together (what we know it's the
day to day challenge in any people-oriented projects, not only opensource
based)

I am all eyes to any information you guys think would be relevant for me to
know, and I will try to catch up with what you guys have in mind asap and
contribute to it in the best way possible!
