dataengine already has what it needs, really. the way to do this would be t=
o=20
create a generic visualization that would display in a tooltip, or even mak=
e=20
tooltip itself into a visualization with a dataUpdated signal ... but then:

* how do you deal with aggregating multiple sources into a single tooltip i=
n a=20
generic fashion?

* how to handle the image display in a generic fashion?

=2E.. etc.

i'm not sure there's a generic approach to "stuff data into a tooltip" from=
=20
the perspective of actual data sets.
