oh yeah, I've removed that little 'feature' ;)

an amusing side-effect of this is that anyone who skips directly from the old 
lineedit code (which caused a bug that got the default text saved in a blank 
note's config) to this code without running the intermediate fixes (I think I 
committed them yesterday or the day before?) will actually *get* the default 
text as real text in 'blank' notes.
but having to delete a bit of text once isn't a particularly painful issue. :)
