I just updated to the most recent version from SVN, and plasma crashed on KDE4 startup and again when I tried to start it from krunner.
My plasma-appletsrc is attached.

This might not be relevant, but I have noticed plasma sometimes crashes when I exit KDE. I haven't submitted a bug report for this as it goes back to KDM before the backtrace can load and I don't have any other details.
