Wouldn't StepCore do the job quite well? Aaron, is there a way to make the desktop obey the law of physics? Not very useful I believe, but fun. And it would show the true power of Plasma. the license is ok.

but the source itself appears to only have MSVC (windows) build files. we'd
need to:

a) provide a build system for it
b) make sure it actually builds and works for us (e.g. no windowsisms in it)
