Hello, I am a designer, and new to the KDE project. I saw the newly redesigned plasma \
toolbox and thought that it needed some work. The plain half circle isn't very \
attractive. Here are two mockups I made :  http://i22.tinypic.com/34s4a6w.png

It would use a "ring" in the top right corner that doesn't obstruct the desktop \
nearly as much.  I hope I can help somewhat, since the oxygen people are busy with \
the style.
