I'm not sure if this is related but I lately fixed box layout to work better 
in applets. Before it was like this:
http://kotisivu.lumonetti.fi/damu0/images/layout1.png and now like this:
http://kotisivu.lumonetti.fi/damu0/images/layout2.png which I think is how it 
should be.
