hm.. this works just fine here... i'm not sure your patch is the right fix,=

any case. a screenshot might help me understand what exactly you are seeing.

i'd love to avoid Yet Another Member Variable. repaintRect seems superfluou=

in the patch as well.

in any case, this shouldn't be necessary at all ... i'll look into the=20
background painting code some more.
