hi all... this is just a heads up for everyone involved.. as you probably know most of kicker is BSD'd. bringing in superkaramba and bits of kdesktop means some changes will have to be made. in particular, i'm suggesting that: all libraries be made lgpl'd the application part of plasma be GPLv2'd w/out the "or any future version" clause if there are no complaints / input on this list over the next couple of days, i'm going to start informing all the previous authors of this change. due to the BSD license, there's nothing they can really DO about it, but i believe in trying to do the right thing whenever possible anyways =) -- Aaron J.
