hey...

this one is mostly for Stephan Nikolaus, but anyone else is welcome to bug 
hunt away on it ;)

right now if you drag an applet off the panel, then back on, then off, then on 
it will eventually crash with a REALLY nasty (e.g. meaningless) backtrace. my 
hunch at the moment (not based on any real investigation) is that the 
repeated creation and destruction of the drag object (which creates a modal 
event loop just to make things fun IIRC) is what's probably doing it.

it works rather well if you just drag from point A to point B, though =)
