It does support uploading from what I read.  It seems that we can
replace what we are doing right now with the welcome dialog with Hot New
Stuff.  So for now, I'm going to get KNewStuff working in SK.  We will
have to figure out how best to 'sandbox' it before the next application
release or the KDE 3.5 release.

I just wasn't sure what became of that thread and if things would be
moving around.  Then again, using KStandardDirs should take care of that
anyway over the long term.
