Subject:    [Kde-nonlinux] FreeBSD probs installing 3.0.2

I've built and installed version 3.0.2, with careful care that the version
2 libs were all identified (from kdelibs and kdebase) and removed, but
when I bring it up, after the initial splash, and the hints, all I see is
a blank screen.  I've tried various combinations of mouse clicks and
modifier keys, unable to bring anything up.  Please, can I get some hints?

I'm including a log of the output of startx here.  If you need any other
info, just drop me a hint, I'm quite willing to help.  I *do* notice the
Property errors, but I have not been able to locate anything that looks
like it could be the source of any config file causing the error.
Perhaps something odd in the install script?

I tried moving the old ~/.kde out of the way, that fixed nothing.  I ran
gnome during the building (kde2 needed to be dead, no libs), and I made
sure there were no old kde processes hanging around (and rebooted
afterward, just to be careful).

Any hints at all would be appreciated.  I want to try kde3.  I hope that
the only thing that bothered me about kde2 was fixed, the mouse selection
action on reaching end of line ... in xterms, you get a carriage return
added, in kde you only get more spaces.  I *liked* the xterm way.
