Huuuh. I didn't know that we are _that_ formal on the KDE team these 
days. ;-)))

Also from my side: A big thank you for you and the rest of the KDE team. 
It's sooo much fun to be part of it.

From my experience as a sysadmin of huge heterogenous UNIX environments I 
have to say that KDE3 with all its kiosk stuff is really great. For our 
customers KDE is one the killer applications on Linux and they would 
love to use it on their IRIX, HP-UX and AIX systems. Just try to 
remember the days when you was forced to use CDE or plain mwm.
In fact, every time I put KDE3 on an IRIX box in the last weeks the 
reaction of people passing by was: "Oh, great! You installed Linux on 
this SGI box!"

With this release and a "KDE has good changes to compile out-of-the-box 
with the next release of the MipsPro compiler" outlook we are again a 
step closer to "total world domination".
...well, at least total UNIX world domination. :-)


/me looking forward to GCC 3.2 and HP-UX on IA64...
