Right, didn't think about that one :(
OTOH, in kdemultimedia/configure.in.in there is a check for the as version 
already to enable MMX for as >= 2.10 already...dunno about the patchlevel, 
but at least 2.9.x which was responsible for the problems with movups won't 
do MMX either...

LOL, I committed it with a little change to be more accurate with that output 
and simplify the #if defined(...) directive in cpuinfo.cc to a single #ifdef 
HAVE_X86_SSE :)
