Hello,

it seems the clicks only occur on some systems:

0) The system is an Mandrake 8.0, Kernel 2.4.5
   IDE, SBLIVE.(overclocked CPU)

1) The non-threaded splay mp3 decoder does not produce clicks
   (even under heavy load) on this system.

2) As soon I enable the threads for mp3 decoding (use yaf-splay)
   it clicks when:
   a) top updates the screen
   b) you type "ls -la"
   c) switch desktop
 
Other threaded players (xmms) does not click on
the system.
On SCSI Systems or system without SBLIVE there
are no clicks.
Anyone have the same problem with eg: noatun/kaboodle?
