Yes. I would say too this is the way to go.
But we cannot only support streaming, we need "seek" too.
we can only seek , after some synchronisation between
the decoder thread and the controlling GUI.

GUI sends "seek to second 100" -> forwarded to decoder->
if decoder is ready->decoder seeks on the input.

The GUI shouldn't change the input data while the codec is decoding.
