Till today I thought MPeg2 doesn't need deCSS, if you create your own "Super
Video CD" and want to play it. I thought deCSS is only needed for DVDs

Obviously there are some problems with deCss. Then there is no
working mpeg2 decoder for Linux available (no GPLed one, propitary, mabye
but I dont know)
The mpeg2 support is not usuable right now and in mpeglib
is only an mpeg2 demuxer but no decoder.
If you are interested in mpeg2:

http://www.linuxvideo.org/

and if you like to try the mpeg2 plugin for arts

mpeglib.sourceforge.net

The mpeg2dec/ac3dec do not support sync, so dont expect anything
usefull.

Martin
