this is already committed to CVS. klipper is a cut&paste history + some more
stuff (you probably have a brown/white little clipboard icon in
kicker). There is a little problem in Qt concerning clipboard handling which
made klipper consume a lot of CPU at times.

If you're experiencing dropouts, check top if klipper and X are eating quite
some CPU time. If yes, please update kdebase/klipper and try again, it
should not happen anymore. This is not the cure for all dropouts, but it
does help a lot.
