Version 1.6.4 of the Qt-based note editor "noteedit" can bow deal with lyrics. This feature is still experimental and only one lyrics line per staff is supported (more are expected). The lyrics are exported into MusiXTeX and MIDI (and implicitely into MUP). Unfortunately not PMX.
