Hello,


I didnīt look at the new kmix, but KDE needs a common
mixer class:

Under Windows a change of the volume updates all volumesliders
in all applications.

example:

1. open winamp 
2. open Windows "Volumedialog".

Change Volume in 1. -> Volume is updated in 2.

KDE needs a (non graphical) class like "mixerAccess" which
wraps an IPC mechanism and has a few signals/slot

* volumeChangeSignal
* BalanceChangeSignal

etc..
