My fellow geeks and friends,

We would like to invite you to join us for the VideoLAN Dev Days 2013

This technical conference about open source multimedia, will see
developers from VLC, libav, FFmpeg, x264, Phonon, DVBlast, PulseAudio,
KDE, Gnome, Xiph, handbrake, tomahawk and other projects gather to
discuss about open source development of multimedia projects.

It will be held in Paris, France, on August 31st (saturday) and
September 1st (sunday) 2013.

The schedule includes technical talks and presentation, meetings
and dev/BoF rooms to discuss about multimedia.

A contrario from previous years, the day before the event, Friday 30th,
a special optional day in the Asterix amusement park, will be held for
our community to bound together

Also, FOMS will not be held together to VDD, which will likely decrease
the size of the event.


As last years, VideoLAN will pay travel, hotels, food and Asterix park
to active contributors to an Open Source project that do not have a corporate
sponsorship.

If you read this email, please take your flights to Paris as soon as
possible. If you have a doubt about your sponsorship for VideoLAN,
please ask on IRC or private mail.

Please send this email to other multimedia folks, so that this event
will be a success!

We are actively seeking for talks! And for sponsors!
