Hi all!<br>After talking with Matthias Kretz (kdemultimedia) i&#39;m moving mplayerthumbs (currently in playground/multimedia) in kdereview.<br>* (of course) can grab thumbnails from video files using mplayer<br>* customizable with a helper application (strips, cache cleaning, binary path and arguments).<br>
* can grab a random image instead of a fixed frame, with an algorithm selecting the best one, allowing the image to be dynamic.<br><br>TODO list:<br>* clear design, allow more separation between thumbnail generation and video manipulation.<br>
* allow to use some other backends (xine, vlc, phonon?)<br><br>Feedback?<br>
